If you decorate with a country, rustic traditonal color scheme in your bedroom, this Sunshine and Shadows Handmade Quilt (sometimes called the Trip Around the World pattern) with its rich reds, hunter greens and deep navy blues is just the quilted piece to create a focal point in your room.  This particular color combination is especially popular for log homes, cabins and cottages.

There is a light weight polyester batting inside this quilt to give a "warmth" factor, but not make the quilt feel heavy.

The Sunshine and Shadow pattern is always a favorite traditional pattern. The design is can be found in early American quilts and was especially popular in quilts from the 1930's.

On a normal king mattress, this quilt will have a 15" drop on each side and end and just come up to the headboard.  On queen, twin or double (full) beds, there is enough length for a pillow tuck. The drop on the sides and end is 15" on a queen, 28" on a twin, and " on a full/double.
